WAYFARERS CRICKET CLUB
100 CLUB
As you may know Wayfarers are continually looking to improve the facilities at the club. We now have a very strong Youth section with U12 and U14 teams for the coming season. There is no U16 league, but several of the boys from this team have already represented the 1st & 2nd teams at senior level both on Saturday and Sundays, this is in keeping with the Club’s policy of rewarding talent.
A few of the projects the Club are hoping the achieve are :
* install an all weather wicket
* improve the practice nets
* purchase a portable practice net
* procure a new set of gang mowers for cutting the outfield.
These projects obviously come at a price and with this in mind the Club are looking to set up a “100 CLUB” to help raise funds.
The cost will be £12 per year ie. £1 per month – with 50% paid back in prizes and 50% going to the Club for improvements.
There will be 3 prizes each month with a bumper Christmas Draw.
The prize fund will be dependent on the number of members.
The “ 100 Club” will be open to anyone – Husbands, Wives, Mums, Dads, Boyfriends, Girlfriends, Aunts, Uncles, Friends etc etc. Remember, the more members the bigger the prizes.
It is planned to hold the first draw in June.
Payment can be made by either cash or cheque. Direct Debit facilities may become available later.
To save any argument membership numbers will be allocated to each completed application as it is received.
Draw results will appear on the Clubs website www.wayfarerssportsclub.co.uk
Winning individuals will be notified.
